ISABELLE FAENZA

Isabelle is an emerging film photographer and artist living in the castro and exploring the idea of being alive, light and shadow, the journey of becoming, nature, how we relate to others, the human body, where the meaning lies, and what it all means. Isabelle's photography is shaped by her southern roots and catholic upbringing juxtaposed with her artistic nature and love of the cultural west. Through her photographs she consciously creates, captures, and then invites you into the world as she sees it. 

Mission:

My greatest hope as an artist is to create connection within myself and for others. Feeling seen in the creation of another has saved me more times than I can remember, and I create, so as to offer this space to others. To evoke a feeling of familiarity and reduce the individual into communion.
